The attitude is certainly different here in the south, at least where I've been. Campground operators either understand that some people don't like to camp with those big behemoths on concrete pullthroughs, and they let poptops and westies camp in the "primitive" sites because that's always where the really nice wooded and quiet site are--or else they're protecting their high-paying customers by keeping us riff-raff away from their snooty rides. either way, nobody has ever really cared where we stayed as long as we paid our money and weren't trying to cheat them in any way.

Maybe it's just a regional thing. The campgrounds I've been to seemed eager for business and to help customers. The couple of big ones we go to on the gulf of mexico have lots of rules, but even then they try to help you out.
