learn something new everyday!   id think europe would be the LAST place for
a diesel automatic vanagon!!!     last time i was there in '98, i could walk
down the street and 99% of the vehicles were standard
transmission....diesels too..

i have seen a diesel automatic rabbit pickup (caddy)..with a/c and power
steering no less!  talk about a slug..
