There doesn't appear to be a VW dealership in Barstow anymore... wouldn't know about the shops. Which way is he headed? I'm NW about 85 miles; if he's coming in this direction I might be able to help him out, or otherwise there's a good shop here, a VW guy. Does he have a phone?
