Ahhhhaaahhahhahhahhahhahhahhh!!!! At last !!! Volksibus is mine!!!! Mine, Mine, I tell you!!! All Mine!!

The deal is done. Me 'n Unca' Joel came to terms and ownership of Volksibus changed hands. Joel to me. . It had been in storage for four years, he had two others and decided to let Volksibus go. I am absolutely delighted.

The van needs a cleanup, but the body - a light metallic blue - is in basic good shape. I have to re-install the headlights and grille, but it is all there, as is the air dam.

This van is a 1988 Transporter. I have a 1988 GL. Can anyone tell me the differences between a Transporter and a GL??

This thing has more lights on it than a Christmas tree. Fog lights up front, rear fog/backup light, big extra brake light. Center bench seat. This is a 7 seater .

This is a project vehicle, but everything is there. Just needs serious clean-up. Engine is tired, so there is a new engine in it's future - and maybe a posi-traction transaxle.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
