Hello there. When you do remove the axel, immediately lace each joint with 2 zip ties. This, before you even wipe your brow.Only someone who has done this before can appreciate how easily the balls fall out.If one ball falls out, the others will think it is ok to come out too, and they will. What a mess you will have on your hands then. Alternatively, you may want to completely dissamble the axel for cleaning, but be prepared for the reassembelly

I have read postings where rebuilt axels are many times not rebuilt correctly. I think this is because the balls are not installed right. Complete, unobstructed circular motion is only obtained if the balls are installed correctly. These postings complain of obstructed motion. My rebuilt axels came in the mail just fine.It was after recieveing them that the balls did fallout and I learned how to put them back in.Cant explain better than Bentley does, but you will need to just do it yourself to learn the difference. You will know when the balls are in correctly.

Use the ties when you enter the black hole with your buttered up axel.
