Here's a couple pics of my install of the Xantrex 1000w unit.
They had them on sale at Costco about 2 yrs back for $69
It has been very reliable.
It will run a 9.6 amp sawsall and even a 500w window AC unit for brief
periods.
I installed several 110vt outlet plugs in my van, with a toggle between
shore power or inverter power for the plugs.
Very happy with Xantrex!
