I started this thread merely to alert anyone who might be interested, of the
1/2 price sale (now over). I do not plan on using mine in a Westy, but it
could turn into a handy thing to have, and the price was pretty good. Yes,
the 2 gauge cable requirement is a bit scary, but is probably not necessary
for lower wattage requirements. My old motorhome has a 2-way fridge with a
275 watt element in it. My 400 watt inverter is not always keen on being
pushed that far, and I'm hoping the 1000 watt will do fine.
On another note, is anyone running their Westy fridge on 110 via an
inverter, while driving? I believe it's only and 85 watt element??
