No, there is no "hidden" lever, 14 1/2 gallons is about all there is to get out of a non-Syncro fuel tank. The reserve that is claimed is mostly, it seems, to keep the dirt out of the pick-up...

But seriously, there is about a gallon and a half that the pick-up can't reach usually. If you are constantly running into this discrepancy as a problem, maybe you should consider carrying a FULL can of fuel with you at all times.

BTW - - are you related to my dad? He runs my mom's car out of gas all the time...
