Zoltan, I would recommend taking the whole fuel setup off the car when
it can be drained of fuel and you can use a dremel cutoff tool on the
metal bands.

Don't do this on the car, you can't keep from set a spark to gasoline.

Barring that and using the special removal tool, you can get one of
those cheap spark plug pullers with a single pointed prong to work into
the small metal loop that stick up. Wiggle it and then you can get
longnose in there and then it will be loose enough to cut with nipper
and not chance damaging the plastic underneath. Once the band is
removed, you can slice up the rubber hose to help get it off.
