I have been away from internet access for most of the week. Got some today but will be on the road again this weekend. Anyway, Why Acetone, and do you really think that amount is helping anything except maybe diluting the engine oil and destroying fuel hoses. Even Techron can only be used for two reatments per oil change.

The combustion process either works correctly or it doesn't. A test without tampering is a good indicaor that hings are working. If you do fail an emissions test, the readings will tell you what needs to be corrected.
