reading the list postings today on my treo, monitor on home pc flatlined on friday, aged 11yrs.

at expo 86 in vancouver bc we had 1 good night in a parling lot in stanley park. night 2, around the witching hour came the unmistakable rap of mag lite on tempered glass. groggily found way across lions gate and found another stealthy looking dirt lot under north (I think!) side of bridge. Worked great first night. Morning of second night the interaction of loose steel bridge deck plates and monday early rush hour made for a jarring start of that day. Earplugs standard kit nowadays for the light sleeping parent I have become. With apologies to the park rangers on the list, I think a lot of the ones I have encountered in a negative fashion missed their calling in urban law enforcement. I guess this means I also need to apologise to urban cops too :) They can be hugely bureaucratic and officious in their interpretation of the rules. I know the math might make more sense on this list, but how in the fV(k do you get 70 people in to a group site that allows only 10 vehicles? Yes, motorcycles count. Are we havin' a failure to communicate here boy? What overflow parking lot? Try 20 miles away in Lompoc. Moral of story, don't try to put greater than10 vehicles on a group site at Jalama beach, SB county, CA
