I'm no expert, but I can't imagine that the spring-loaded tubes would put any significant amount of additional pressure on the head than the compressed ends of a solid stock tube. They both exert pressure on the head to seal, right? Maybe I'm way off base here, but I can't see the pressure from four springy tubes you can compress by hand even being in the same league as eight head studs under tension.
