driving on 91 in Vermont is a great ride on a great road but don't forget to get off and enjoy the smaller routes like route 5 it parallels 91 most of the way north and hugs the Connecticut river. It was the only way to drive into the depths of VT from the south until 91 came along

I have seen many a fool off the road while driving 91 in good and bad weather just because you have 4 wheel drive does not make your tires stick to the payment any better. go slow stay to the right and soak up some of what VT has to offer don't forget to stop at John Car Corner for the tour

Vermonters don't have much use for flat landers other than there tourist dollars I married a VT gal 20 years ago and they still make fun of me
