i think john was asking the difference between vans badged as such. T3's badged as "transporters" were usually the base model vans - panelvans, kombi's and pickups.. in europe most westys were badged as transporters too, as they were incomplete base model transporters when they were shipped to westfalia-werke for the camper conversion, so the badge stayed on the rear..
