Hi all,

This thread piqued my curiosity, as I've been lurking around here for a
long time.   I went into the archives, and the first post of mine I
could find  was November of 1998.  I suspect that I was around a bit
before that, before I sold my 1983 Westfalia for the 1987 Syncro I have
now.   I don't post nearly as much now as I once did, but continue to
lurk in the background.  I've met some nice folks through the list,
received some helpful technical assistance, and hopefully provided some
over the years.  I plan to stay around for the foreseeable future....

We only use the Syncro for traveling and the occasional need to haul
something large, otherwise we try to limit it's use so as to minimize
wear and deterioration.  Based on what I see on the list, I suspect that
at 116KMi we have one of the lower mileage Westfalia units on the list.
