RE: Kirk Creek Forest Service campground You were about a month behind me, stopped there for a night as I meandered home from BBTB X in January. Since this is a Forest Service campground, as you mentioned, it is half price for old clowns like myself with a Golden Age pass. For those of you not familiar with the Golden Age pass, it costs a one time fee of $10 and gives you and everyone in your vehicle free entry to all National Parks, discounts at federaly operated campgrounds and even a small sicount at some State run campgrounds. Nice little campground, very easy access from Highway1, enjoyed a great sunset that night and awoke to a fogbank sitting about a mile off shore. BTW, I left a couple of dollars at Go-Westy on the way also.
