Both deep and shallow metric 3/8" drive sockets with drivers, extensions and such; metric open/box combo wrench set, metric allen.hex wrench set, vise grip pliers, needle nose pliers, wire cutter/crimper/stripper pliers, a few screwdrivers, a real Crescent (or any good brand) adjustable wrench (8"), Channel-Lock pliers (10"), multi-meter, flashlight, and (of course) a Bentley.

That set of tools will cover probably 95% of roadside-repairable problems. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger"
