With the exception of hasving to drill out a broken stud or bolt, I have never removed the water pump or AC compressor to repalce the rear exhaust pipe. A short 13mm socket, 3'extension, and a flex handle ratchet will get the job done. The flex ratchet with curved handle waorks best.
