Subject: Clutch slave bracket - diesel and boxer
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I am almost finished with my boxer to inline conversion and I had the transmission rebuilt with diesel bell housing. I have the clutch slave cylinder mounting bracket from the boxer bell housing mounted on the diesel bell housing and the slave cylinder is contacting the level arm correctly but the mounting flange is about ¾” above the bracket. Is the bracket from the diesel different? I looked on the Bus Depot site and the cylinder appears to be the same for all Vanagons.

Thanks for the help,

John Stepto
