After I saw this add-on mod to the lift gate I began thinking. What about
adding a second pair of vanagon tail lights to the rear of the van between the
stock lens and the licence plate.
Just jump a wire for the brake and back up lights.

I have to dig in my spares box and I am going to see if this is possible
with as little modification as possible.
