Subject: The Apparent Popularity of Vanagon Alloys
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Keep your shorts on, folks, this isn't really a wheel thread, just a story:

I called a guy today who had advertised "VW Wheels for sale, all sizes and models."

I said, "hello, I'm calling about your ad. Do you have any Vanagon Alloys?"

He replied, "JEEZ! What is it with you Vanagon people and these alloys? You're the tenth Vanagon Alloy person to call me today! Why do you all want them so badly?"

"Uhm, well, they were limited production, I guess, and they're kinda rare."

"Well I certainly WISH I had some, but no. NO VANAGON ALLOYS."

I guess we can be a pretty annoying group at times...
