So the planning for Syncro de Mayo 2006 in CA has begun!

Has anyone thought about this or begun making any plans for this year?

Has anybody given any thought to the area around Davis, WV? It is about 15 miles almost due south of the western most point of MD. The area is about 30 miles south of I-68 as it passes west out of MD into WV. There are several major dirt bike motocross type races there and it is a big center for mountain bike racing, several old strip mine nearby where people could play with the Syncros. I remember riding through one of the strip mines during a mountain bike race about 12 years ago and it would be fun in a Syncro also. Some of the great old logging roads in the forest have gates that would keep a van out, but let a mountain bike in. :<( I haven't been out there in a few years, and never have been camping there, but there are two nice WV State parks, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley, and a private campground or two. Both state parks have lodge and hotel like rooms as well as cabins, and camping areas. Each has a OK restaurant. A few decent restaurants, gas stations, etc. all within a few miles of the old strip mines, are in Davis. There are some nice guys at a bicycle shop that could tell us about where we could go.

I know Brady has been rolling around up at this Paragon Park.

But I guess we should start thinking if we are going to do anything.
