OK, So now I have a new turnkey Suburu engine installation in my 88 GL by the good folk at Vanaru.com - $7-8000 - have just driven down the road for a test drive, and along comes Joe Ne'r-do-well and whacks me a good one. Insurance folks total the van and offer me $2000 because after all it is and 18 year old vehicle. So now what. Do I just eat the difference?? That 6 grand difference in cash was awful hard to come by - blood, sweat and tears, in fact. So what is the solution insurance wise. Can better coverage be obtained to protect the investment?? It's a big question in my mind!!
