IMS, the Okrasa company made p[erformance parts for VW's even before EMPI, Gene Berg, Scat etc. They even had performance heads for the old 36hp motor. the last reference I heard of for Okrasa was some sort of big bore kit for either the Vanagon engine or maybe it was the Type 4. Took it out to like 2.5 liters. Hyper expensive stuff. I think they had a dual carb kit for the upright engine back in the early 60's too. German company I think.
