I had a standard 7' high overhead garage door that when open, only gave me 6'-10" clearance for my DC w/ roof rack & tilt which requires 7'-1 3/4". The garage trusses were at 7'-2"! I tore out the overhead door, & built/installed a sliding barn type door that gave me the full 7'-2" clearance I needed. Plenty of room for the westy which is lower than the tilt-ed DC, but I can't jack up the DC w/ the tilt in place!
