Not to mention learning curve for regular people like me. How many parts will I screw up? and have to buy again? How many hours will I have to re-read the instructions before I can make a move? How many trips to FLAPS do I have to make in order to get the right tools, parts, .... and what if they are out of the particular part... Nothing like wanting to go forward but having to wait until next weekend until the part comes in. .... what if i need something welded? machined? bent? I don't have those resources.

I do a lot of work to my van. I'm just not a mechanic.

Perhaps its just me... but I'd rather leave SOME of this to a pro. Its not that I can't do it... its that I would rather camp and have little van projects, than not camp and have a HUGE project.

For that, the price seems reasonable to me.

How many hours of labor did it take you? Now take those hours and multiply by $60-80 per hour. Say it took you one week of only 40 hours. That's an additional $2400-3200 that you did but didn't charge yourself.
