My set up has been trouble free for over a year, but no long term testing to fall back on here. I may keep the sender in the system, but put a shutoff valve in the line so othat when I really need to know what the pressure is, I can turn it on real quick and check it, then close the valve and not subject the sender to any more gas abuse than necessary. I would think any water in the gas might corrode the sender more that the petrol itself. In the mean time, I will seach for another electrical gauge system that is compatible with gas. I wonder if the sending unit is compatible with diesel fuel? It's almost oil.
