Subject: Satisfaction Plus, & Installation Ease Of Stainless Coolant Pipes.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I'm writing this message to this list only because of the ungodly amount of negative feedback I received regarding the possible purchase and insatallation of a set of the stainless pipes offered at the samba.com by the guru of all evil Terry Kay. I do know now this was the wrong thing to do at this forum. No one had any experience with the pipe installation as I had asked, the quality of the product,as very few had actual dealings with the seller/builder of the pipes other than some what seemed like a very short sided, negative opinions.

First I would like to say that Tery's demeanor on the phone must be much different than what he had posted on this list, and I found him to pleasant and very helpful to say the least.

He was concerned about my satisfaction so he sent the 2 piece pipe set upon my approval!!!!

I received the pipes last thursday, installed them yesterday, and I want all of the listmemeber's who might think they know what he is all about to re-adjust your thought process. The pipes fit perfect. They almost jumped into place by themselves. I truly was amazed at the fine fit, and precision bending of the pipes. The overall finsihed product was beyond my imagination. It's almost a shame to hide them on the bottom side of any vehicle.

They are very nicley executed, and finshed well. I sent him a money order today with a note attached thanking him not only for the fine set of pipes, but for his trust and honest assement of what I really needed, the best way to do this really lousey job, and the right tools to use.

I'll have to say to the majority of the member's here at the Vanagon list, regardless of what may have been said or done in the past really doesn't alter the fact the man is the ultimate craftsman, and beyond that a gentleman, and honest person to business with above and beyond the call of duty.

I can't think of anyone that would send parts on appproval, anywhere. I certainly appreciated the help Terry provided, and will most certainly do buisness with him again prior to buying parts anywhere else.

I Plan on returning his good gesture.

Have a Nice Weekend,

Ron
