How did I value my time? I would not value it at $80. per hour as some > would.... That is like valuing the time you spend with family, working in > your own yard, tinkering on projects as $80. per hour. That is hubris! >

No one said mowing the lawn for an hour was worth $80. This all started as a discussion of the cost of having an engine swap done. Some remarked that the prices seemed high compared to what they spent doing it themselves. The only point anyone was trying to make was that paying for a mechanic's labor is expensive and as such any engine swap cost must take this into account.
