I'm not sure, but it seems to me that the injectors have some type of resistance in the wiring harness or ECU to limit the current. IF this is the case you might want to be a little careful about connecting them to a full 12V for very long. This cleaning scheme does sound rather clever tho. I wonder if it also reveals dripping if an injector doesn't close properly. Larry A.
