Twist it up and out with a properly sized e-z out.

Ok so I'm putting a 1.9 back together after asking around and reading anything else to look at before putting the case together and it looks Like I get to be the one who has the future advice.

Where in anyone's instructions is the topic of broken off dipstick tube in case discussed?

I have'nt found it- because that's what I discovered after its all sealed up- there's about an inch or so of tube in the dipstick hole, as I remember seeing broken dipstick tube in the box (This was a basket case) with brazing on the end.

So it had broken, and the PO brazed it.

I have a good replacement tube. How do you remove the broken part still in the case. there's about 1/4 inch above the case.

Can it be driven down and out- I still can retrieve it as the cylinders are'nt in yet.

I'll be relieved to know I can just drive it out thru the bottom.
