I'm planning to remove the H&R lowering springs from my 85 Transporter single cab and replace them with the new Boge's offered by The Bus Depot. I am also replacing the existing tires with new Michelin Agilis size 185R14C on Carat 6x14 alloy wheels. I know I going to need a 4 wheel alignment but my two local dealers that sell the Michelins (Costco and Discount Tire) don't do alignment work. Although I let them align my F250, I'm reluctant to take this particular vehicle to Les Schwab. Can anyone recommend an alignment shop in the Seattle, King or Kitsap County areas?? Also, can anyone confirm that the spec's for a 85 Transporter single cab are the same for a Vanagon, or not?
Yes, the H&R springs will be FS when I get them swapped! They appear to make my single cab about 2-1/2" lower than my 85 Westy.
