So um, is there a way to convert back to non swivel? I didnt look at the rails close enough and when I ripped the seat off of the swivel part, only then did I realize it was welded closed so you couldnt actually put the seat back into the rails. now my drivers side seat is mounted with only 2 of the original bolts on the swivel portion, and makes it feel VERY unsafe. is there a solution here to my basically hacking away first and asking questions later? I just wanted more headroom and since I never swivel the drivers side anyway I thought it would work out ok. im thinking I need to get a different seat and have it just welded into place on the pedistol. this is one of those times when I wish I knew how to weld myself, just so I didnt have to explain to someone why I need it done now. =p cr |
