The fan in the rear top of my 1987 Wolfburg works but-I only have speed 1, and 2 of the 4 speeds. Sometimes, I can get the 4th speed to work but after a few minutes it will shut off and I have to turn the speed control to the speed 2 position. I believe the speed relay (or what ever it's called) for speeds 3, and 4 are gone. What is involved in taking it apart and replacing the parts so that I have ALL of the fan speeds?? Does anyone know the part numbers for the relays, etc., as I think I will replace both at the same time. How does the thing come a part as for the plastic case that runs the length of the van? Also, the temp control no longer turns on and off automatically. It's either on or off and how do you replace the thermostat?? Thank you for any help here. You are a product of your past, And its prisoner if that is your wish. |
