Some toll roads do, and it is based on the number of axles. For example, in Maryland, Delaware and PA, the Tolls double if you add one axle. But if you take the Ohio or Indiana Turnpike, a single axle trailer toll is the same as a 2 axle car. Illinois I don't believe charged extra for the single axle trailer. Of course I have a SmartTag/FastToll/EzPass device on my Vanagons and a separate one for when I have the trailer attached. So mostly I don't worry about the price, it is automatically charged. It is so nice to not have to stop to pay tolls....
