Hi to those mechanically inclined, My brother has a 1986 Ford Bronco II (V-6) with a quarter million miles on it. He reports to me that he has some water in the oil (nope - don't know how much). He asked me if I thought this could be a head gasket. My first thought is that it could, but after cogitating for a bit, I'm thinking that there isn't a water/oil interface at the head. Am I correct in this? What other possibilities are there. It still runs strong - no noticeable performance issues. I realize the Bronco II has a poor reputation, but he's had pretty good luck with his, and would like to keep it rolling. Thanks in advance, Karl Wolz |
