I haven't used anything on the van. Although the previous owner had receipts
to show everything was serviced a few years back I don't think he used it
once. Since the fridge wouldn't work on 110v I decided to pull it to the do
"the flip" and fix the rust in the back. The tank was empty when I got it so
I figured I'd pull everything and start from scratch.
Is there a better autofill valve to use?

#1: the part in the middle is the regulator, which lowers the tank
pressure to 11" water column, or about 1psi, so that the fridge and stove
can use it. It is important.
#2: the part on the right, I think, is a pressure relief valve. When your
van catches on fire or you park in an oven, the relief valve lets the
propane out of the tank before the tank explodes.
#3: Some people have trouble with those autofill valves. Have you ever
filled this tank, or used the propane appliances?
