just look at a westy.. once you weld it in, the end result is the same thing as what the factory did on the westys.. i added one to my 84 sunroof.. welded the lower plate in just like the factory did. ps, neal just has the top half of the swival.. you need BOTH the top and the welded on bottom to make it work.

if anyone out there just has the top half, i'll buy it..or alternately, if anyone just has the top half, and wants a complete swival mechanism, then i have an extra bottom half (the part that was welded on the westy) that id sell. i got it from a westy that someone just took the top half, and left the bottom half there.. obviously they never installed the top half as you cant install it without the bottom welded on half.. anyway, so if anyone needs the bottom plate that was welded to the van..let me know
