That's what I did when I crimped one of my lines. I sawed off the offending part and then put on a short piece of rubber/nylon reinforced (whatever the real material is I don't know) propane hose, and I double clamped it at both ends. I know others said they'd not do this, but I'm still alive after 5 years. May European vans had the propane tanks in under the sink and ran flex hose to the stove and fridge. Malcolm
