I'm installing a GoWesty IMI starter, I'm not sure about the wiring.


Idiotic for sure, but what can I do..


There's a spot on the starter for the female spade connector, got
that.    Then, I asssumed, the threaded/bolt connector next to it is
for the big red wire from the alternator, right?


So what happens to the big black wire running from the front of the
Vanagon?


Or am I completely backwards?  Thanks for any assistance, I'm trying to
finish up before the big snowstorm hits..
