I put a 10" under the bench seat. I used some web speaker box designer thing to figure out roughly how big the box is. I can provide (external) measurements if you want. The box is simply 1/2" particle board (I would have used 3/4, but i already had the 1/2) and is actually just glued together with caulk. I still need to get a grill for it.

inside passenger side of bench seat (never bothered to mount the amp): http://jupiter.okb-1.org/camera/public/vanagon_panels_done/.catalogimages/p8140036.jpg.html

inside driver side of bench seat (I can't say mounting the cd changer right next to the subwoofer was one of my better ideas): http://jupiter.okb-1.org/camera/public/vanagon_panels_done/.catalogimages/p8140035.jpg.html
