I had the same problem with exposed mud falap holes. I used ace Hardware rubber plugs that look as though they were meant to plug the holes as a factory item. It cost $1.00 for four of the rubber plugs. Plastic plugs of the correct diameter are also available at Ace in the assorted hardware asle. Ron
