Why transfer your fridge from your starter battery to your auxiliary battery? Then you have to worry about draining the aux. battery if you don't switch to propane when you stop.

If you just leave it as they set it up, and run on 12 volt while driving, there's no risk of draining the battery when you park 'cause it won't stay on battery.

On many fridges the propane will blow out if you drive with the van on propane. It doesn't do any harm - no leaking propane - but you could just drive with the fridge on 12 volt.
