I agree with Dennis--you shouldn't have to deviate from stock to keep it running at the right temp. Are you positive the original thermostat was good? That fact that replacing it makes the engine run cool implies that the first thermostat wasn't opening right. If it were a blocked radiator or a water pump or whatever, the new thermostat wouldn't have any effect. |
