Cant speak for Chris, but I found it informative about the "types" of individuals selling on e-bay. I am seeing similar "types" of people using ebay in the Porsche community as well. Seems that e-bay kind of provides a "shield" for some who may not want to deal in a more straightforward form of a sale. Autotrader, The Samba, Craigslist, etc all seem to have a more personal type of interaction. and thus a different "type" of seller. Not that EVERY e-bay sale is this type but it does seem to the most insulation between the parties. I too prefer to buy and sell outside of the e-bay sphere. Doug
