Dexron II is just an updated formulation over the original Dexron. I believe there's now a Dexron III which is compatible as well. For my auto, I use the latest Dexron with no problems, YMMV. I prefer running the Dexron series because as I travel all over, I like being able to get it from any FLAPS. Synthetic may be harder to find when traveling to gawd-knows-where. No, I already have a core stashed away, but thanks :-) -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 3/28/06, dylan friedman <insyncro@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Hello All, > <SNIP> > Is there any reason to good reason to run Dextron II over the Dextron, or > should I upgrade to sythetic? > > Anyone need a auto trans core? > > dylan |
