On the syncro doublecab list one of the members stated that it was legally imported by himself.

It also appears to be the same red doka that was advertised on ebay back in November or so. It did not make reserve, and I was VERY close to buying it. I noticed in the photos from the previous nov. auction that it had had Pennsy inspection stickers in the windshield.

The photos also showed some paint delamination and rusting, that looks to have been repaired.

Incidentally, after the auction didn't make reserve, the seller called and I believe the offering price was less than $8k.

So to sum up, I believe that the red doka is legal (from this distance, remember I can't read the frame nos.), but I don't think the value is worth his asking price.
