dual fuel conversions on vanagons are very common in germany now, as propane is far cheaper and more environmentally friendly. i would love to convert my van at some point. i have not heard about propane tanks inside the vehicle., though. some put it in place of the spare tire, although i guess that would be illegal in the u.s.... last time i wass at my van repair shop in germany (i dont work on my europena van myself) there was a line of vanagons waiting for their conversion.. around 1800euro.....
