Hi Dennis,

The specs on the Xantrex 1000W inverter mention that it pulls 0.3A when switched on with no load, but I would expect that to only apply when the unit is switched on. I installed mine yesterday, and will be field-testing it with the trip to EveryBus in three weeks.

Tomorrow I will put an ammeter inline with the unit and see if there's any draw when it's off.
