Chris

the sender can be tested with a multimeter and the resistance graph is in the bentley. and yes sensors can be flakey. i do believe mark posted a short while ago that he has junked brand new sensors because they didn't measure correctly. get a cheap ir gun, i don't have one but i soon will i have the waekon coolant test system and the ir gun is just nicer and quicker to use. cheap ones can be had at radio shack or just roll by your local mechanic and toss him a few bucks to come out the back door of the shop and shoot your system in a couple of spots. also did you test that t-stat you pulled out in a pot of boiling water? that is cheap and easy and will tell you what condition the parts that you changed out were in.

i await the data from the old t-stat. or the new one for the at matter.
